On May 31, 2023, Brad Treliving was appointed as the new general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs. He is the son of Canadian businessman Jim Treliving, who is the co-owner of the Boston Pizza restaurant chain and a longtime host on CBC's Dragons' Den.

Following his son's appointment, Jim Treliving jokingly congratulated Brad, saying, "I'm very proud of him. I just hope he doesn't trade all our good players to Boston." Brad Treliving's family includes his wife, Julie Mast Treliving, and two daughters.

Brad Treliving's Professional Journey

Brad Treliving has a long history in hockey management. He previously served as the general manager of the Calgary Flames from 2014 to 2022. Before that, he worked as an assistant general manager with the Phoenix Coyotes and the Nashville Predators.
