The Brisbane Lions are an Australian rules football club that competes in the Australian Football League (AFL). The club was formed in 1996 through the merger of the Brisbane Bears and Fitzroy Football Club.

The Lions have won three AFL premierships, in 2001, 2002, and 2003. The club has also won four AFLW premierships, in 2017, 2018, 2020, and 2021. The Lions are one of the most successful clubs in the AFL, and have a large following of supporters.
